Mixed Ashes REACH Consortium

REACH consortium for mixed ashes was established in the beginning of October 2009. The consortium is aiming to jointly REACH register mixed ashes by 1^st December 2010. Linnunmaa is acting as the Project Manager of the consortium. The Lead Company of the consortium is Pohjolan Voima Oy.

The consortium covers ashes from combustion of bio fuels, peat, deinking sludge, pulp and paper industry sludge, coal in fuel mix and recycled fuel (REF, only in co-incineration). The substance specification is determined more exactly in the consortium agreement.

All legal entities that are planning to register the above mentioned ashes or ash mixes according to REACH are welcome to join the consortium.
